Cinema Research Study - Participants Needed
A joint research team (HCI Lab at UCF and KRISS) is seeking individuals for a movie watching experience research study. Your job is to watch a film (out of Hangover, Iron Man I, Blind Side, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Toy Story 3) while attached a set of four sensors on your head and fingers of a physiological device (Biopac MP150). The electrodes are to collect pulse rate and brain activity and will not hurt you. The session will last up to 4 hours (pre-survey, movie viewings, and post-survey). The research activities will be audio/ video recorded. (This study has closed)
Directed Research Course in Human Computer Interaction
This course is a research oriented advanced course for graduate studnets that covers the basic elements of design, development, and evaluation of interactive systems. Much of the course is devoted to user-centered design methodology, grounded in modern HCI theory, and with some additional coverage of interactive user interface development concepts.
